In this week’s issue of PEOPLE, the sisters talk about how they are trying to move forward from these difficult times. Tammy recalls meeting Caleb at Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Ohio, where she was pursuing her own weight loss journey. He quickly became “the love of her life,” and they married in November 2022. Tammy describes him as someone who fit in perfectly with her family.

Tammy Slaton’s husband, Caleb Willingham, passed away seven months after she left him at an Ohio rehab facility. The cause of death remains unknown. Tammy received a text message from Caleb’s friend informing her that he was not doing well and shortly after, another text message confirming his passing. Tammy was devastated by the news and recalls being in the fetal position upon receiving the news. Recently, Tammy was photographed at Caleb’s funeral with her family.

Tammy Slaton, who recently lost her husband Caleb Willingham, has found solace in creating two pieces of jewelry made from his ashes. According to Amy, the lack of support and love from Halterman contributed to the end of their marriage.

According to Amy, the argument began when she spilled Glenn’s formula and needed to buy a replacement jar. Michael refused to give her back her bank card, which she needed to make the purchase, leading to a heated exchange between them and Amy’s sisters that was caught on camera for the upcoming season of 1000-Lb. Sisters. Although this incident was the final straw for Amy, she admits that she had been falling out of love with Michael for some time prior to that.

Amy Slaton and her two sons, Glenn and Gage, were recently featured on TLC. She now has limited contact with her ex-partner Halterman, only communicating with him when it pertains to their children. She drops off and picks up the boys on Fridays and Mondays, and will occasionally ask him to watch them if she needs to work. Beyond these necessary interactions, they have no further communication.
