In a recent episode of Sister Wives: 1-on-1, Janelle Brown shared her belief that Kody Brown has finally found his soulmate in Robyn Brown, and is unlikely to take on another wife. According to Janelle, Kody has been talking about how he and Robyn are moving forward into monogamy, suggesting that he is committed to their relationship. Despite the possibility of Robyn introducing another woman to Kody, Janelle does not think he will pursue a polygamous relationship anymore. As someone who was previously in a spiritual marriage with Kody for almost three decades before their split in 2022, Janelle’s insights offer a unique perspective into Kody’s personal life.
In an upcoming episode, Janelle teases host Sukanya Krishnan by offering to bet $1,000 that Kody and Robyn won’t have any more children. Janelle believes that Kody and Robyn are content with their life as a couple and have something special together. Kody married Robyn in 2014 after divorcing his first wife Meri Brown and legally adopted Robyn’s children from a previous relationship. Meri and Kody remained in a spiritual union for several years before officially breaking up in January, and Kody and Christine previously separated in 2021. Despite the family’s ups and downs, Janelle wants Kody and Robyn to be happy together, which is a sentiment shared by Christine. She believes that Robyn doesn’t want a plural life and encourages Kody to let go of his anger so that the family can get along again.
Kody is worried about Christine’s confidence in her ability to know what Robyn is thinking, despite their previous conflicts. He expresses his doubts about Christine’s understanding of Robyn and her lack of effort to try and understand her. Kody even goes as far as calling her a “sh–ty sister wife”. Watch the exclusive preview of Sister Wives on Us Weekly to find out why Kody is upset with Christine’s assumptions about his wife.
