Ever since the series premiered on Netflix in 2020, a total of eight pairs have discovered true love throughout five exciting seasons. Join us as we reminisce about their incredible journeys before the highly anticipated start of season 6 this Wednesday.

With Love Is Blind gearing up for its sixth season, let’s take a stroll down memory lane and reminisce about the heartwarming love stories that have blossomed from the show! Since its debut on Netflix in 2020, fans have been captivated by the unique concept of the show, where singles dive into the journey of finding love and agreeing to tie the knot without ever laying eyes on their partner. As the social experiment unfolds, the couples must navigate the challenges and joys of a relationship to see if love truly knows no bounds.

For eight couples, Love Is Blind has been the spark that ignited lasting love. From Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton to Amber Pike Barnett and Matt Barnett from season 1, and Alexa Alfia Lemieux and Brennon Lemieux to Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton from season 3, these pairs have found their happily ever afters. Season 4 brought us Bliss Poureetezadi-Goytowski and Zack Goytowski, Kwame Appiah and Chelsea Griffin Appiah, as well as Brett Brown and Tiffany Pennywell Brown, while Lydia Velez Gonzalez and Milton Johnson warmed our hearts in season 5.

Beyond the show, these couples have continued to nurture their relationships and build a life together. From sharing their post-show adventures to offering advice to the upcoming season 6 contestants, these lovebirds have proven that love knows no bounds and can withstand any challenge.

Ashley Marie Myers was one of the two couples who captured viewers’ hearts during the first season of Love Is Blind. Lauren and Cameron were adored by fans of the show, and recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary by renewing their vows in Las Vegas at Bellagio Resort and Casino. The intimate ceremony was shared exclusively with PEOPLE magazine.

Reflecting on their relationship, Lauren, 36, gushed about how time has flown by and how she continues to fall more in love with Cameron, 33, every day. She expressed gratitude for their growth and the happiness they share. Cameron chimed in, acknowledging that five years can feel like a long time, but also recognizing the effort and work that goes into a successful marriage. He expressed his thankfulness for the challenges they faced, as they ultimately strengthened their bond and led to a stronger marriage.

Amber, at 31, and Barnett, aged 33, are adored by fans as one of the enduring couples from the debut season of the show. They recently celebrated their fifth anniversary with a heartfelt Instagram post, expressing their love and commitment to one another. Amber reflected on their journey, acknowledging that while they have had their share of challenges, their willingness to work for their relationship has made their love stronger over the years. She emphasized that their love is a continuous choice that they make every day, and she is grateful for the growth they have experienced together. To mark the occasion, Amber also revisited her Love Is Blind days by wearing her “reveal” dress, bringing back memories of when she first met Barnett in person.

Brennon and Alexa from season 3 have been settling down in Texas, looking for a home, and eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child. They revealed this exciting news exclusively to PEOPLE magazine.

“I’m thrilled to be embarking on this new chapter with Brennon, where our love continues to grow stronger as we navigate parenthood,” Alexa, who is 29, shares with PEOPLE.

Recalling how Love Is Blind brought them together, the Lemieux couple acknowledges the significant role the show played in their relationship. Since their season aired in 2022, their bond has only deepened.

“I doubt Brennon and I would have crossed paths if not for the show, but I like to think destiny would have brought us together eventually,” reflects Alexa. “Love Is Blind gave us the platform to be vulnerable and truly connect. Before meeting Brennon, I had never felt such trust and openness with someone.”

In maintaining a successful marriage, Alexa emphasizes the importance of regular check-ins and prioritizing their relationship. “Life can get hectic, but it’s crucial to support each other. Date nights are essential even after tying the knot. Whether it’s dressing up for a fancy dinner, cooking together, hitting the golf course, or catching a movie, spending quality time together is key.”

Offering advice to the couples of the upcoming season 6, Alexa suggests focusing on their connection and ignoring external pressures. “Take pride in your journey to find each other. It’s a challenging process that requires honesty and self-reflection to know that you’re making the right choice.”

Colleen and Matt, who got married on Season 3, took their marriage at a pace that suited them. In November 2022, Matt, 29, shared with PEOPLE that blending their lives taught them a lot about each other. They faced some challenges right after the show ended, as they had to learn how to integrate their lives smoothly. However, they managed to make it work by gradually incorporating each other into their daily routines.
One of the hurdles they faced was adjusting to their living arrangements. Despite surprising fans by initially living separately as a married couple, they eventually decided to move in together in Dallas. Colleen mentioned on a podcast in May 2023 that they didn’t want to rush this process and wanted to take their time to ensure they didn’t make any mistakes by jumping into shared living spaces too quickly.
Sharing a post on Instagram, Matt hinted that they did things their way.

Samuel Isaiah Lewis, a couple based in Seattle, found love and got married on the fourth season of the reality show Love Is Blind. Despite facing challenges along the way, they believe that everything happened as it was meant to. They have traveled the world together, overcame Zack’s allergy issues, and have grown stronger as a couple.

Bliss, aged 34, expresses to PEOPLE that their love makes them better each day. They make it a point to celebrate their monthly wedding anniversary, taking time out of their busy lives to reflect on their love for each other.

In an exclusive announcement to PEOPLE in November, Zack, aged 32, and Bliss revealed that they were expecting their first child, due in the spring of 2024. They are excited for this new chapter in their lives and feel that their love has deepened even more through this experience.

Bliss reflects on the journey they have been on, mentioning how their love is a miracle that brought them together. She acknowledges that without Love Is Blind, they wouldn’t have found each other or the joy of expecting their first child. They are grateful for the love they share and the little miracle that is on the way.

In their first two years of marriage, the Seattle couple from season 4 shared with PEOPLE how their love has only grown stronger since they exchanged vows. Chelsea and Kwame are thrilled to be approaching their second anniversary and continue to discover new things about each other every day.

According to Chelsea, the couple is still learning and growing together, experiencing all the important life phases side by side. Kwame added that he can’t imagine going through life without his wife by his side, as they support each other through every twist and turn.

Reflecting on their whirlwind experience on the show, Chelsea and Kwame credited their successful marriage to following their own path and relying on their support system, which includes their families and fellow season 4 cast members. Chelsea emphasized the need for couples to set their own pace in their relationship post-“I do,” and Kwame agreed that understanding this has been key to their happiness.

Their advice to season 6 couples is to embrace the journey, trust the process, and stay true to themselves. Chelsea stressed the importance of standing by each other during the toughest times, as that is when love truly shines. She encouraged couples to be willing to accept and love each other’s imperfections, as that is where the real work of marriage begins.

Brett and Tiffany, who found love on season 4, have been happily married since the show aired on Netflix in April 2023. They now call Portland home, with Tiffany moving from Seattle to be with Brett. The couple says they are adjusting well to married life and are excited for new adventures in 2024.

“We’re doing great,” Brett, 36, shares with PEOPLE. “Living a normal life in Portland… We have some exciting trips planned for this year. We’re still learning about each other and growing, like any relationship. But we’re happy.”

Tiffany, 37, attributes their successful marriage to staying close and having open communication. “Being in the spotlight can be distracting, so I’m grateful that we’ve stayed grounded and supported each other. We give each other space to pursue our passions while still being there for one another.”

Brett emphasizes the importance of self-awareness in relationships. “The more you understand yourself and feel comfortable in your own skin, the better you can be for your partner. It’s crucial to do the inner work.”

For couples on season 6, Brett advises, “Have fun and enjoy each other’s company away from the cameras. Not everything needs to be shared on social media. Make time for privacy and cherish moments with your loved ones.”

Milton and Lydia are the only couple from season 5 of Love Is Blind who tied the knot, and they have been fully committed to their marriage ever since their wedding day aired in October 2023.

Lydia, 32, shares, “Milton and I have been embracing the joys of married life wholeheartedly. We recently traveled abroad for our first international trip, immersing ourselves in different cultures which was a truly eye-opening experience. Professionally, we are both pushing ourselves to new heights: Milton is balancing a demanding job with pursuing his second Master’s degree, while I am focused on advancing in my roles as a scientist and project manager. It’s a period of exciting growth and exploration for both of us.”

The couple, based in Houston, find it “liberating” to no longer keep their marriage a secret. Lydia mentions, “Being recognized internationally adds a fun twist to our daily lives, reminding us of the show’s wide-reaching impact.”

Offering advice to the season 6 couples, Milton, 25, and Lydia stress the importance of staying true to themselves and staying grounded amidst the chaos of the show. Lydia advises, “It’s essential to block out the noise and focus on the support of loved ones who truly know you. Remember, your worth is not defined by a TV show. Embrace this unique journey with an open heart and cherish the lessons and memories it brings.”
