Parker and Mitchell are on the lookout for new spots to mine for gold in the Alaskan wilderness. Their search leads them to a claim that was previously worked by a long-gone mining company. Aora, the daughter of the claim owner, joins them in exploring the area. As they investigate, they uncover signs of past mining activities, such as an old dredge and tunnels dug by the previous miners in search of gold. Excitement builds as Parker and Mitchell start to see the potential for finding gold on the claim. Aora draws their attention to a mound of dirt with a birch tree sprouting from it, a clear indicator of possible gold deposits beneath. With high hopes, they begin to sift through the dirt in search of the valuable mineral.

The location of the claim is 20 miles north of Fairbanks, Alaska. Parker and Mitchell had a productive mining season in the Yukon last year. Unfortunately, Parker’s wash plant for the new claim is delayed, preventing them from digging deep. However, Aora and her husband are optimistic about the potential for Parker and Mitchell to turn their season around on this historic ground. It is likely that the old miners left behind gold that was too difficult for them to extract.
