“It was such a random occurrence. Turns out, it was actually scar tissue from my appendectomy when I was 18 that was causing me all this pain,” she explained. “Anyway, Happy New Year everyone! I might be getting discharged today after being here since Wednesday morning. I can’t wait to go home to my dog, I’m beyond excited.”
To wrap things up, the fitness instructor declared, “I just wanted to let you all know where I’ve been, but don’t worry, I’ll be leaving very soon.”
Fhima, who was the runner-up on “The Golden Bachelor,” was not chosen by Turner for the final proposal. Instead, Turner got down on one knee and proposed to Theresa Nist, whom he is set to marry on January 4.
Earlier this month, Turner and Nist shared their plans to tie the knot just a few weeks after getting engaged. “When you’re in your 20s and you postpone something for a year, it feels like a small fraction of your life. But when you’re in your 70s, time flies,” Turner shared with People magazine. After losing his wife Toni unexpectedly in 2017, Turner expressed that he is “100% certain I found the right girl for me. So why not?”
Nist also expressed her excitement at the idea of marrying Turner, who she described as the man of her dreams. She exclaimed, “It may not have been our original timeline, but getting the wedding we’ve always dreamed of? It’s absolutely spectacular, incredible, wow!”

‘Hey everyone! So, if you’re curious about how I celebrated turning 65, well, let me tell you, it was definitely not what I expected. Instead of having a blast and enjoying the day with my loved ones, I ended up spending it in the hospital,’ she shared candidly in a video that I recently posted on my Instagram Story. ‘Yep, you heard it right. I had this unexpected bowel blockage that caused excruciating cramps. I had to rush to the emergency room, and that’s when the doctors discovered the root of my discomfort – this stubborn blockage.’
Uncomfortable: Fhima disclosed that her doctors advised her to undergo surgery and encouraged others who are experiencing ‘severe stomach issues’ not to delay going to the hospital for 12 hours like she did.
The well-known TV star’s partner was previously married to a childhood love named Billy, with whom she spontaneously got married in 1972.
Turner then shared that he wanted his soon-to-be wife to fully enjoy the process of planning their upcoming wedding ceremony.
“Considering she rushed through the first one, I wanted her to truly relish the anticipation and happiness… it doesn’t seem like she’s missing out,” he remarked.
Nist also expressed her excitement, stating that she believed their upcoming wedding ceremony would be “extraordinary.”
The TV personality further emphasized that both he and his partner were primarily concerned about each other’s health and well-being.
