Brandan justified his use of the term “bitch” when engaging in arguments with his wife, Mary. He explained that he utilizes this word with the intention of encouraging her to assert herself and display confidence.
The fate of Daniele, Wayne, and Sarper’s relationship was finally revealed during the finale of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 5. TLC concluded the stories of these couples in a two-hour tell-all episode, although some of the endings seemed more complicated than others.
Holly and Wayne, Shekinah and Sarper, Kirsten and Julio, Brandan and Mary, Kimberly and TJ, Daniele and Yohan, and Kenny and Armando are moving on to the next chapters of their lives. Some of them are continuing their journeys together, while others are going their separate ways.
During the Monday night finale, fans discovered the latest updates on each couple. Here’s what we’ve learned about Holly and Wayne.
There is still hope for Holly and Wayne to salvage their marriage and move forward together. After spending four months apart, the couple has agreed to give their relationship another chance. During a FaceTime conversation, Holly expressed her desire to reconcile with Wayne, asking if he still wanted to be with her. While Wayne acknowledged that there are challenges to overcome, he reassured her that they are soulmates and destined to be together. They discussed the need for better emotional understanding and support in their relationship, with Wayne promising to make an effort to see things from Holly’s perspective and offer continuous support, while Holly committed to developing a stronger resilience to prevent emotional moments from negatively impacting their relationship.
Shekinah issued a strong demand to Sarper, insisting that he get rid of his little black book. The dramatic love story between Sarper and Shekinah was temporarily overshadowed by the presence of another man, Dan. On the show, it was revealed that Shekinah’s longtime friend had repeatedly expressed his romantic feelings for her, and he took the opportunity during the Tell All to reiterate his belief that he is a better match for Shekinah than Sarper.
During their argument, Dan displayed a sign that read, “Hey! Give Dan the man a chance!!!” and clashed with Shekinah over conflicting accounts of their past sexual encounters. Shekinah maintained that they were never intimate, but Dan disputed her claim, stating that it was not completely true.
Dan also criticized Sarper and Shekinah’s approach to fitness and diet, expressing his preference for Shekinah as she is and urging Sarper to appreciate her natural beauty. Sarper defended their relationship dynamic, highlighting Shekinah’s desire to serve, which she confirmed as something that brings her happiness.
Sarper then proceeded to explain his peculiar method of keeping track of his sexual partners, displaying a color-coordinated notebook filled with X’s for each woman. The color of the tracking system corresponded to how attractive he found them.
This discovery proved to be a major deal breaker for Shekinah, who vowed not to meet Sarper in person again until he destroyed the notebook. The rest of the cast expressed shock and raised concerns about Sarper’s attitude towards women and his decision to quantify his intimate encounters in such a calculated manner.
Now shifting our attention to Brandan and Mary…
Mary and Brandan shared the details of their recent argument tactics. They also happily introduced their one-month-old daughter, Midnight, and shared the story of Mary’s difficult birthing experience. Fortunately, despite some complications with the umbilical cord, both Mary and Midnight are doing well.
Despite becoming parents, not much has changed in the couple’s daily routines. Brandan still spends his time playing video games and has even defended his use of the word “bitch” during arguments. He believes that by using that word, he is encouraging Mary to stand up for herself. However, the cast members are unsure of how to support Brandan’s behavior.
Brandan’s mother, Angela, joined the cast and shared her concerns about Mary and Brandan’s relationship. She highlighted their ongoing cycle, where Brandan’s impulse is to leave whenever things get stressful, even when Mary wants him to stay. Mary also recalled an incident where Brandan shouted at her while she was holding their baby.
In light of these issues, Angela suggested that both Mary and Brandan seek therapy. She emphasized that it is not okay for Brandan to raise his voice or yell at Mary, especially in front of their daughter. If he reaches that point, she advised him to take a break and go for a walk instead of causing a scene.
Angela also told Mary that she needs to understand the importance of therapy for dealing with their individual traumas. She assured Mary that seeking help does not make her a failure but rather provides her with the tools to overcome her fears of being wrong or inadequate.
The couple is contemplating a move to America with their baby, but Mary is hesitant due to her grandmother’s illness. They currently have one foot in their home and the other in search of a new adventure abroad.
Daniele and Yohan still do not agree on whether or not he cheated on her. In past Tell All episodes, their failing marriage was highlighted, with other women being involved. On the recent episode, a woman named Memory revealed her side of the story. She explained that Yohan started messaging her on Facebook, initially asking about her life and then suggesting she visit the Dominican Republic. According to Memory, Yohan claimed to be single and going through a divorce, portraying Daniele as someone who was trying to take everything from him.
Yohan, on the other hand, said he does not remember who Memory is but admitted that he often messages women who follow him on social media with a simple greeting. Regarding his alleged connection with Memory, he stated that it may or may not be true.
When asked if he would confess to cheating on Daniele, Yohan responded by saying that his words would be interpreted in a certain way regardless of what he said and that he is no longer interested in the topic.
He concluded by telling Daniele that he wished he had been unfaithful so that he wouldn’t feel as guilty and that he had been too good to her.
Kimberly and TJ
Kimberly and TJ will be separated for a while since she is currently staying in the United States. Just as the episode ended, Kimberly surprised everyone by revealing the state of her marriage with TJ. Despite still having feelings for him, she has no plans to return to India for at least four months. As she spends quality time with her family in America, Kimberly confessed that the idea of going back to her husband would make her sad.
She expressed her uncertainty about including TJ in her future plans, stating, “Honestly, I don’t know if I can envision TJ being a part of my future anymore. While ideally, I would want him by my side, I’m not sure where he fits in realistically.”
