Ashley Marie Myers, one half of the beloved couple from the first season of Love Is Blind, Lauren and Cameron captured the hearts of fans everywhere. To celebrate their five-year wedding anniversary, the couple renewed their vows at Bellagio Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, giving PEOPLE an inside look at the intimate ceremony.
Reflecting on their journey, Lauren, 36, expressed her gratitude, saying, “Time has flown by, but every day I find myself falling more in love with Cam, which I didn’t think was possible. I’m proud of our growth and where we are today.” Cameron, 33, added, “Five years may seem like a long time, but marriage is work. The challenges we faced have only made our bond stronger, and I’m thankful for that.”
Their love story continues to inspire and shows that with dedication and effort, love can truly stand the test of time.
Amber, aged 31, and Barnett, aged 33, are a beloved couple from the first season of the show. They recently celebrated their five-year anniversary with a heartfelt post on Instagram. In her post, Amber expressed how their love has grown over the years due to their dedication to each other and their commitment to working on their relationship every day. She also paid tribute to their Love Is Blind days by wearing the same dress she wore when she first met Barnett in person.
Brennon and Alexa have captured the hearts of fans since season 3 of their journey on Love Is Blind. Currently residing in Texas, the couple is on the lookout for a new home and eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child. The couple shared this exciting news exclusively with PEOPLE magazine.
“I’m thrilled to embark on this new chapter in our lives, where our love will continue to grow stronger as we navigate parenthood together,” Alexa, 29, expressed to PEOPLE. Looking back on their love story, they acknowledge the significant role that Love Is Blind played in bringing them together. Since their season aired in 2022, their bond has only deepened.
Reflecting on their experiences, Alexa acknowledges that without the show, they may not have crossed paths. She shares, “Love Is Blind provided a platform for us to truly express ourselves and connect on a deeper level. Meeting Brennon has allowed me to open up in a way I never had before.”
To maintain a strong marriage, Alexa emphasizes the importance of communication and prioritizing their relationship. “We make it a point to check in with each other regularly and make time for each other despite life’s busyness. Date nights are still a must, whether it’s dressing up for a fancy dinner or enjoying a casual night out together.”
Offering advice to future Love Is Blind couples, Alexa advises focusing on their relationship and ignoring external distractions. “Embrace your journey to finding each other, it’s a challenging but rewarding experience that requires openness and self-reflection to know you’ve made the right choice.”
After saying “I do” on season 3, Colleen and Matt decided to approach marriage at their own pace. In November 2022, Matt, 29, shared with PEOPLE that they had to navigate through a lot of adjustments as they merged their lives together.
“The transition was a bit challenging right after leaving [the show],” he confessed, explaining that finding a groove and blending their routines was not easy at first. “It’s all about learning to integrate each other into our daily routines.”
One major change they had to work out was their living arrangements. Although fans were surprised to hear that they initially lived apart as a married couple, they eventually settled in together in Dallas.
“It takes time to adjust to living with someone new. We both didn’t want to rush into it and complicate things for others,” Colleen shared during a podcast in May 2023. She added, “We wanted to take it slow and not jump into sharing spaces right away.”
“We did it our way 🤫,” Matt captioned on his Instagram post around that time.
Samuel Isaiah Lewis, a couple based in Seattle, found love and got married on season 4 of Love Is Blind. Despite facing challenges along the way, they believe that everything happened just the way it was meant to. They have shared many adventures together, from traveling the world to overcoming Zack’s allergies and adopting their beloved pets. Through it all, they have only grown stronger as a couple.
“We feel our love growing stronger every day,” Bliss, 34, tells PEOPLE. “It’s the simple moments together at the end of each day that make life so special for us. We mark our month-iversary each month without fail. No matter how busy life gets, we always find time to celebrate and cherish the day we said ‘I do’. It gives us a chance to pause, refocus, and revel in our love.”
In a November interview with PEOPLE, Zack, 32, and Bliss shared the exciting news that they are expecting their first child in spring 2024.
“Our love has reached a new level of depth as we embark on this journey of welcoming Baby G into the world,” Bliss expresses. “Feeling those little kicks and realizing that we have created a human being together, a blend of both of us, is the most precious feeling in the world. We are eagerly looking forward to becoming parents.”
“Sometimes, we still can’t believe that we met in such a unique way, even a year and a half later,” she reflects. “We always say that our love is a miracle, and we are forever grateful to Love Is Blind for bringing us together. Our love story and the miracle of Baby G wouldn’t have been possible without it.”
After nearly two years of being married, the couple from season 4 in Seattle happily shared with PEOPLE that their love is still strong as ever since they exchanged vows.
“We are thrilled and proud to be almost reaching our second anniversary. We continue to learn from one another, and every day brings new excitement and discoveries, which is truly amazing,” Chelsea expresses.
Kwame chimes in, saying, “We are going through significant life phases together, and having each other on this life journey brings us immense joy. Activities that I once did alone, I can’t imagine doing without my wife now.”
Reflecting on their whirlwind experience on the show, Chelsea, 31, and Kwame, 33, credit their successful marriage to following their own pace and relying on their support system, which includes their families and fellow season 4 co-stars.
“Finding love in such a unique way like on the show comes with its own set of challenges,” Chelsea notes. “Life in the Love is Blind world moves quickly, and it’s crucial for couples to realize that after saying ‘I do,’ they can navigate their relationship’s speed based on their comfort level. This realization has been extremely beneficial for Kwame and me.”
When asked for advice for the couples from season 6, Chelsea emphasizes, “Embrace the journey and have faith in the process. It’s crucial to stand firm in your beliefs and desires. Understand that marriage isn’t just about the altar moment but about the ongoing effort. Be open to accepting and loving each other’s imperfections. Love truly shines during tough times because that’s when showing up for one another matters most!”
Brett and Tiffany instantly clicked when they met on season 4 and have been happily married since the season aired on Netflix in April 2023. They now reside together in Portland, with Tiffany making the move from Seattle to be with Brett. The couple is enjoying married life and eagerly anticipating new adventures in 2024.
“We’re doing great,” says Brett, 36. “Living a normal life here in Portland… We have exciting trips planned for this year that we’re both looking forward to. We’re still learning about each other, growing together, like any relationship. But we’re happy.”
To keep their marriage strong, Tiffany, 37, emphasizes the importance of staying connected and maintaining open communication. “Being in the public eye can be distracting, so I’m grateful Brett and I have stayed grounded through it all, checking in on each other, supporting one another, and allowing each other space to pursue our own interests. We don’t have to do everything together just because we’re a couple. Encouraging each other to follow our passions has really strengthened our bond,” she explains.
Brett adds, “Take time to understand yourself better. The more you know and accept yourself, the better you can support your partner. It’s important to work on yourself for the relationship to thrive.”
For couples on season 6, Brett suggests, “Enjoy yourselves and remember to disconnect from the cameras. Not every moment needs to be shared on social media. Make time for privacy with your loved ones.”
As the only couple from season 5 who ended up tying the knot, Milton and Lydia have been fully committed to their marriage since their wedding day was shown in October 2023.
Lydia, 32, shares with PEOPLE, “Milton and I have been embracing the joys of married life wholeheartedly. We recently took our first international trip together, immersing ourselves in different cultures which was truly eye-opening. Both of us are challenging ourselves professionally: Milton is handling a demanding job while also working towards his second Master’s degree, and I am focused on progressing in my roles as a scientist and project manager. It’s a period of growth and discovery for both of us.”
The couple, based in Houston, feels relieved to no longer keep their marriage a secret. Lydia mentions that being recognized internationally adds an exciting element to their daily lives, reminding them of the show’s wide influence.
Milton, 25, and Lydia offer advice to the couples of season 6, urging them to stay true to themselves and maintain their integrity despite the whirlwind of the show. Lydia emphasizes the importance of blocking out distractions and focusing on the support of loved ones who truly understand you. She emphasizes that a reality show does not determine one’s worth. She advises embracing the unique journey with openness and joy, as it provides valuable lessons and memories.
