Amanda discloses that a member of their family is currently struggling with depression. Viewers of season 4 witnessed some dramatic events, and the family was hoping to start afresh with Tammy Slaton returning to Kentucky from her rehab facility in Ohio. Amy Slaton, who tied the knot with Michael Halterman during season 1 of the show, has been dealing with health issues and challenges in her personal relationships following the birth of her second son, Glenn.
A preview of the upcoming episode of Sister Wives season 5, exclusively shared by E! Online, shows Amanda, Tammy, and Misty Slaton trying to assist Amy with the problems she is facing as a new mother of two boys. Amy expressed how exhausted and in pain she was all the time because she had to take care of her children and manage the house. Amanda reminded her that her husband was also present and capable of taking care of the kids so that Amy could have some free time. In another scene, Amanda scolds Michael for not supporting Amy enough.
In a conversation between Amy and Amanda, Amanda questioned Michael’s ability to support Amy and their children. Although Amy tried to defend her husband, Amanda insisted that it was important for Michael to be more supportive, especially when Amy needed a break from parenting.
