“I wanted to make sure she understood where I was coming from and that I didn’t agree with how she was handling the situation,” AD Smith tells PEOPLE following her conversation with Sarah Ann Bick regarding contacting and making plans with Jeramey Lutinski.

Attention: This article reveals spoilers from episodes 10 and 11 of Love Is Blind season 6.
Amber Desiree “AD” Smith is making it clear that she stands by her actions on Love Is Blind.
In the recent episodes of the popular Netflix show, AD, 33, confronted fellow cast member Sarah Ann Bick for contacting Jeramey Lutinski after their breakup in the pods, despite him being engaged to Laura Dadisman.
The tension peaked during a group outing by the lake, where AD took Sarah Ann, 30, aside to call her out for her questionable behavior, especially for reaching out to Jeramey, 32, despite knowing he was engaged, and later staying out with him until the early hours of the morning.
While Sarah Ann defended her actions, AD firmly believed that she was in the wrong and disrespected Laura, 34. Now, AD is sharing her side of the story with PEOPLE, expressing that she has no regrets about addressing the situation with Sarah Ann.
“I felt it was necessary to have a conversation with Sarah Ann about what happened, because we had formed a strong bond as women,” AD explains. “We went through this entire journey, dates, and being in the pods together, and then to witness that kind of behavior and see it create some tension within the group really affected me.”
“So, I wanted to make sure she understood where I was coming from and that I didn’t agree with how she handled the situation,” she adds. “I stand by what I said and wouldn’t change a thing.”

Netflix revealed in episode 8 that Sarah Ann, who was one of Jeramey’s top choices in the pods, reached out to him via Instagram once they returned home to Charlotte, North Carolina. Her message expressed a willingness to meet up if Jeramey’s feelings were shifting, regardless of his final decision.

Despite not responding to Sarah Ann’s message, Jeramey ended up running into her at a bar a few days later while out with some cast members. They ended up chatting all night and Jeramey even dropped her off at her house before returning home to his fiancée, Laura.

Laura grew suspicious when Jeramey didn’t return home at a reasonable hour or respond to her messages. She confronted him the next morning, pointing out that his whereabouts lined up with Sarah Ann’s location and accusing him of lying about his night out.

Their argument in episode 9 spiraled into a heated confrontation, with Laura demanding to end the relationship after catching Jeramey in a series of lies regarding his late-night encounter with Sarah Ann.

On the 11th episode, Laura and Jeramey’s relationship was still strained, leading to their breakup at the cast BBQ. AD stepped in to support Laura when Sarah Ann questioned her actions, asking if it was appropriate to approach a man who just got engaged with intentions of a potential relationship.

Sarah Ann defended herself by stating she was being realistic and believed Jeramey led her to believe there was a chance for them. She insisted on sharing her feelings, but AD disagreed, calling Sarah’s actions crazy and disrespectful to Laura and Jeramey’s relationship. AD pointed out that Sarah shouldn’t interfere in an engagement, regardless of the circumstances, as it showed a lack of respect and class.

In her confessional, AD expressed her disapproval of Sarah Ann’s behavior and declared her loyalty to Laura.

Thanks to Netflix, we have seen Laura and Jeramey part ways, leaving only three engaged couples in the mix: Amy and Johnny, AD and Clay, and Chelsea and Jimmy. Brittany and Kenneth were also engaged during season 6 but decided to call it quits when they realized there was no romantic spark between them.
With wedding bells on the horizon, the remaining couples must make a tough decision – tie the knot to prove that love is truly blind or part ways for good.
