‘Boundless Love’ Chelsea Holds No Grudges — Amid an ‘Awkward’ Encounter Between Her Partner and His Former Flame

The Love Is Blind celebrity discloses to PEOPLE that in Mexico, there was an abundant supply of tequila, various exciting events taking place, and a constant presence of cameras. This created an atmosphere that was both exhilarating and intense.

Caution: The following discussion includes spoilers concerning the fourth season of “Love Is Blind” on Netflix.
Chelsea from “Love Is Blind” is ready to forgive and forget. As a pediatric speech language pathologist, aged 31, she reveals in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE that she has moved past her fiancé Kwame’s flirtation with his ex Micah during their time in Mexico on the popular Netflix dating show’s fourth season.
According to Chelsea, this incident was simply a part of their journey. She acknowledges that going into an experience where the person you are interested in is dating 15 other individuals is quite unique. She believes that as multifaceted individuals, it is acceptable for Kwame to have made a connection with Micah.
Chelsea emphasizes the circumstances in Mexico, where there was an abundance of tequila, an overwhelming environment, and constant camera presence. These factors contribute to an elevated and intense experience for the contestants.

During the episode, Chelsea observed that Kwame and Micah were reconnecting by the pool. However, she confesses that she didn’t feel the need to interrupt their conversation as it wasn’t her natural instinct. Chelsea acknowledges that Kwame and Micah had some unresolved issues that needed to be addressed, although it did make her feel uncomfortable at times. Despite this, she holds a deep respect for Kwame’s personal journey and doesn’t harbor any ill will towards Micah. Chelsea believes that if someone else finds her man attractive, then they must be pretty great too, just like herself. She genuinely believes that everything happens for a reason and sees no reason to hold any grudges or negative feelings towards Micah.

Upon their long-awaited reunion, Kwame and Micah wasted no time in diving into a deep conversation, delving into the abrupt end of their previous relationship in the pods.

However, their interaction took an unexpected twist when Micah playfully raised her glass for a toast to “a failed proposal.” This comment struck a nerve with Kwame, prompting him to whisk Micah away for a private and candid discussion.

Meanwhile, across the pool, Chelsea found herself growing increasingly uncomfortable witnessing their flirtatious exchange. Frustrated and yearning for an escape, she made her candid declaration that she no longer wished to be part of the party and longed to retreat to the comforts of home.

Later, in the privacy of their hotel room, Chelsea confronted her fiancé, questioning his immediate need to address Micah’s comment. In response, Kwame explained his unease and emphasized that he couldn’t simply let the remark slide without addressing it.

Open and honest communication seemed to be the order of the day, as the three individuals navigated through the complexities of their emotional entanglements.

During the party, Chelsea addressed the issue of not having a moment to calm down and explained to Kwame, “It’s important to consider how our actions are not only affecting ourselves but also me.” Kwame then acknowledged that he and Micah didn’t have any closure in the pods. Chelsea questioned, “Do you feel like you got closure tonight with her?” He responded, “Not completely, but enough.” Her expectation of a different response led her to exclaim, “Oh my gosh! Not completely? What would have been enough? Testing the waters? Making out with her?” Trying to reassure her, Kwame said, “I got what I needed, and I’m content with where we are.” Chelsea then asked if he would prefer to be with Micah, to which he replied, “No, not even for a second. I am exactly where I should be… and I have no doubts about that.” The conversation ended with Chelsea urging Kwame to release his attachment to Micah.
