Rick Ness is currently facing some obstacles in his search for gold. He had put all his eggs in one basket by conducting a deep test drilling that suggested he would strike gold worth $5 million. However, as the winter season approaches, Rick finds himself 800 ounces short of his target. Unexpectedly, the owner of the property Troy Taylor, offers to sell the land to Rick. To secure the deal, Troy asks for a down payment of 150 ounces, which is equivalent to a quarter of a million dollars. Rick is hesitant and needs some time to consider the proposition.
To increase gold production, Rick collaborates with his crew member Kyle Lawson, a former ironworker from Yukon, to run two wash plants simultaneously. Kyle accepts the challenge and manages to bring in an additional 150 ounces of gold, helping them achieve their biggest gold haul yet, totaling 315 ounces for the week. With the extra funds, Rick is now able to make the down payment on the property and move forward with the purchase.
However, Rick’s expedition is not all about facing difficult situations. A new opportunity arises when the landowner Troy Taylor proposes to sell the land Rick is currently leasing. Rick and his team take on this challenge and increase their production, resulting in their biggest gold collection so far. With this newfound wealth, Rick decides to take a significant step towards owning his own plot of land. Although Rick’s journey for gold is ongoing, he has made a remarkable progress in his career by conquering the Yukon mountains with his perseverance and hard work.
