Colleen from “Love Is Blind” Celebrates 2 Years of Blissful Love with Matt, Embracing a ‘Chilled’ Lifestyle as Long as Those Dishes Get Done!

The pair, who crossed paths during the third installment of ‘Love Is Blind’ and exchanged their vows despite numerous obstacles along the journey, joyfully celebrated their second year of marital bliss on Sunday.

Colleen Reed, one of the couples from Love Is Blind, recently shared on her Instagram Story that she and her husband, Matt Bolton, celebrated their second wedding anniversary. The couple, who tied the knot on season 3 of the dating reality show, spent the special day with their family in Oklahoma, as it also coincided with Reed’s grandmother’s 90th birthday. They then made a stop at Winstar casino on their way back to Dallas and had a fantastic time. Despite Reed feeling under the weather due to either a cold or food poisoning, they still had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

Reed, who recently made the big decision to move in with Bolton, aged 29, also responded to a fan’s inquiry regarding their experience living together. (They took this step together in early June, just before celebrating their two-year anniversary.)
“It’s been absolutely amazing!” she enthused about their fresh living situation. “We’re still trying to find our groove when it comes to household responsibilities. You know how it is – who should handle the trash? Or the dishes and cooking? Maybe we should just make Matt take care of all of it!”

In a delightful Instagram post last month, Reed and Bolton delightedly announced that they had taken the exciting step of moving in together.
With a touch of humor, the ballet dancer captioned a series of charming photos of the couple in their brand new kitchen with the words, “Honey I’m home!”
As if to address the rumors surrounding their relationship, the Netflix star cheekily included a middle finger emoji, playfully indicating that those who had speculated their marital troubles were off the mark.
Bolton joined in the celebration with his own post, captioned with the words, “WE did it OUR way 🤫” showcasing their unity and happiness.

Colleen Reed recently took the opportunity to address any speculations about her living arrangements with her partner, Deepti Vempati and Natalie Lee, on their podcast called Out of the Pods. In an effort to dispel any rumors, Reed shared that she and her significant other practically live together already, as Bolton spends a substantial amount of time at her place. The convenience of proximity to his workplace has led Bolton to stay at Reed’s residence, and he hasn’t visited his own place in the past month. Reed expressed her excitement about the prospect of living with Bolton outside of a studio setting, highlighting the new experiences they will have together in their shared space.

Reed shared that since she and her partner became acquainted and tied the knot on the reality show, they wanted to experience their relationship outside the show’s realm before cohabitating. “We desired to understand how our bond would thrive in an everyday setting,” she expressed. “Transitioning to living with someone requires time and adjustment. We both felt it was important to avoid hastily altering our situation just to appease others.”

Shortly after the third season premiered, Bolton shared his thoughts with PEOPLE about the obstacles they encountered on their journey to marriage and the reasons behind his decision to say “I do” to Reed.
He mentioned that there were numerous conversations that viewers didn’t get to witness. Reflecting on these discussions, Bolton expressed gratitude for the tensions they experienced, as it helped them understand how to handle certain situations better.
In hindsight, he admitted that he regretted running away from the conflicts, specifically referring to the incidents in Malibu and Dallas where he had a heated argument with Colleen and even claimed to be done with the relationship while packing his belongings.
Realizing the importance of not avoiding problems, he shared, “We came to the realization that we shouldn’t run away when faced with challenges. I felt like I was seeking an easy way out.”
Despite their uncertainties leading up to the wedding day, Bolton expressed that witnessing Colleen walking down the aisle made him realize the immense potential they had as a couple. He said, “This was such a significant moment, and I couldn’t ignore the fact that we were perfect for each other. We had to seize this opportunity; it was too good to pass up.”
