In an emotional teaser for the new season, Amy cried as she spoke about her exhaustion

In a heartfelt preview for the upcoming season, Amy was seen shedding tears as she opened up about her fatigue and mental health while raising her two young children, Gage and Glenn. The TLC star sat at the kitchen table, expressing her constant exhaustion and the challenges of juggling her responsibilities.
“I’m just so tired all the time,” Amy admitted, her voice filled with emotion. “Trying to take care of two boys, manage the household, and also care for mom, it’s just overwhelming. I used to have everything under control before Glenn was born, but now…”
Her sister, Amanda Halterman, intervened and reminded Amy about her ex-husband, Michael Halterman, emphasizing that she doesn’t have to face everything alone. Amanda called Michael into the room and pointed out Amy’s emotional state, highlighting her depression and lack of energy.
In the comments section, many fans expressed sympathy for Amy and criticized Michael for not helping with the children. They urged him to step up and take on his responsibilities as a father.
Amidst the divorce proceedings, Amy and Michael finalized their divorce on September 6, 2023, after a lengthy court battle. Although there were allegations of domestic violence made by Amy earlier in the year, those charges have been dropped. The couple has now reached a custody agreement for their two children.
Despite the recent divorce, Amy has found companionship with her new partner, Tony Rodgers, who has reportedly moved in with her in Kentucky. However, her sister Tammy Slaton does not approve of the relationship. Nonetheless, sources claim that Tammy has been lending a helping hand and taking care of Amy’s children.
