Falling for Love: ‘Intense Physical Chemistry’ With Zack Leads Bliss to Give Him a Second Chance

In the most recent episodes of Love Is Blind, viewers witnessed the comeback of Bliss to the show as Zack decided to break up with her and chose to propose to Irina instead.

Bliss Poureetezadi from Love Is Blind holds no resentment towards Zack Goytowski, despite not being his first choice on the show. Fans were surely excited to see Bliss, aged 33, make a comeback in the latest episodes released on Friday. In the previous season, she had experienced heartbreak when Zack, aged 31, ended their relationship in the pods.

In episode 6, Zack reunites with Bliss for the first time after his split with ex-fiancée Irina Solomonova in Mexico. Irina, aged 26, even encouraged Zack to reach out to Bliss once he returned to Seattle. During their meeting, Zack confesses that he had made a mistake and pleads for another chance.

By episode 8, Zack and Bliss have reignited their romance and are happily engaged, eagerly preparing for their upcoming wedding. Despite the challenges they faced, Bliss assures PEOPLE magazine that she always believed she was meant to be with Zack. Because of this unwavering belief, she had no qualms about opening her heart to him again.

Bliss explains, “I approached this situation with openness because of the deep feelings I had for him and the kind of person he had shown me he was. He never gave me a reason to doubt or lose faith in him. In the pods, he was always brutally honest with me, sometimes to a fault. Our conversations only reinforced my belief in him.”

She continues, “I never felt manipulated or deceived. In my heart, I knew Zack was my person. I could sense that he had made a mistake with Irina, and I think he knew it too. I didn’t feel the need to convince him or force him to see it. He had to arrive at that realization on his own.”

Bliss concludes, “Ultimately, it was my intuition that guided me. Everything felt so right, and I refused to let my pride hinder our connection.”

Due to the format of the show, Bliss reveals that Zack was unable to personally contact her. Instead, their meeting at a restaurant in Seattle was arranged through the producers. “We didn’t have a direct way to communicate with each other. He actually got in touch with me through the producers,” she explains. “So Zack and I had no direct contact before we met up. And I was quite surprised by that.” Despite her initial shock, Bliss agreed to meet him, and although she maintains a mysterious demeanor onscreen, she admits she couldn’t deny the strong chemistry between them. “I didn’t have any specific expectations,” she admits. “But during our conversation, I had that feeling of ‘Oh, I was right.’ I knew deep down that I made the right choice… I was trying to hold back my emotions because the intense physical chemistry we experienced took me by surprise. So I was trying to restrain myself, even though my smile was hard to suppress.”

Eventually, Bliss made the decision to fully include Zack in her life. This momentous occasion occurred during episode 8, where Zack proposed to Bliss while they were on a boat, enjoying the stunning view of Seattle.

When asked if she had any reservations about agreeing to marry Zack so soon after reigniting their love, Bliss confidently states that she had no hesitations. She acknowledges that deciding to get married is a significant step, but for her, there was no doubt. Zack consistently demonstrated the wonderful person he is, and she felt deep within her that he was the one for her. She remembers thinking, “Good. I was right.”

Regarding the proposal itself, Bliss admits to being taken completely by surprise. She had no inkling that it was going to happen, which made the experience even more special for her. She expresses her gratitude for the unexpectedness of the proposal.

Although it seems like everything is going smoothly for Bliss and Zack, their fans will have to patiently wait for two more weeks to find out if they ultimately walk down the aisle and say their vows.
