Jackie Bonds, also known as Jackie, is excited about her future with Josh Demas after her breakup with her ex-fiancé Marshall Glaze on season 4 of the popular reality TV show Love Is Blind. In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE, the 27-year-old Jackie reveals that she and Josh, who is 31 years old, have taken their relationship further.
“We are now a couple,” Jackie happily shares. “We have moved in together and we are embarking on this new chapter of our lives.”
For those who have followed Jackie’s journey on Love Is Blind, it’s no surprise that she and Marshall did not end up getting married. The couple experienced several intense arguments during the show, leading them to call off their engagement.
Marshall, who is also 27, made efforts to salvage their relationship until the very end. He even went tuxedo shopping with his fellow male cast members to prepare for the wedding. Meanwhile, Jackie skipped her wedding dress fitting and later met up with Josh for a coffee date.
After Josh confessed his love for her, Jackie made the difficult decision to end her engagement with Marshall and pursue a future with Josh instead.
Marshall, Jackie, and Josh are three individuals who were featured on the Netflix show Love Is Blind. In a recent episode, Jackie told Marshall that she no longer wanted to be with him, which clearly hurt him. Marshall expressed his regrets and wished Jackie the best, even if that meant being with Josh. However, Jackie took to Instagram on April 8 to clarify that her date with Josh did not actually happen during her wedding dress fitting. She stated that she had already broken up with Marshall before meeting Josh at the coffee shop. Jackie explained that she was wearing different clothes and had a different hairstyle in the video, and even mentioned her uncertainty about being with Josh. Despite the confusion, Jackie emphasized that she had no regrets about her decisions on the show, except for not having a final conversation with Josh in the pods. Overall, Jackie’s approach to breaking up with Marshall may have been simple, but she acknowledged that her relationship with him may not have been as straightforward.
Marshall spoke to PEOPLE and shared that he has no regrets about the events between him and Jackie on the show Netflix’s Love Is Blind. He believes that everything happened for a reason and holds no ill feelings or wishes harm upon anyone involved. Marshall understands that life is too short to hold grudges and harbors no negativity towards Josh and Jackie being together if it truly makes them happy. He acknowledges that it may not have been the best choice for him but is grateful for the experience nonetheless.
Despite their split, Marshall mentioned that he has stayed in contact with Josh and reflects on their positive interactions, choosing to prioritize the good and let go of any negativity. However, Marshall admits that his perspective may change once he watches all the Love Is Blind episodes and hears what is said. Nevertheless, he reiterates that he has no issue with Josh.
In the meantime, Jackie revealed that she and Josh have moved in together and are starting their life as a couple after her breakup with Marshall on Love Is Blind season 4.
