Since becoming husband and wife, Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist have started coordinating their clothing choices. Following their televised wedding on Thursday night, the couple was seen wearing complementary pastel outfits. Turner, also known as the “Golden Bachelor,” sported a baby blue sport coat over a vibrant yellow button-down, paired with fitted jeans and light gray slip-on loafers. Nist, on the other hand, opted for a corresponding pastel ensemble, featuring distressed light pink jeans and a floral blouse in shades of light pink, blue, and yellow. To add some flair, she accessorized with a cropped black fur coat and white leather booties.

During their celebration, Turner opted for a slick black tuxedo instead of his initial choice of a blue suit. He believed that a black tux would give a more formal and polished look. On the other hand, Nist looked stunning in a romantic wedding gown designed by Badgley Mischka. The gown beautifully showcased a strapless plunging neckline and a fitted bodice with a mermaid silhouette. To add more drama as she walked down the aisle, the gown had a voluminous tulle train. To complete her look, the bride wore a matching veil and vintage Neil Lane jewelry.

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist got married on January 4, 2024, and they hired renowned photographers John & Joseph Photography to capture their special day. When speaking to PEOPLE, Nist gushed about the stunning gowns she received from a well-known fashion house. She expressed how grateful she was for the help of her daughter, daughter-in-law, and fellow Golden Bachelor contestants, Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts, in finding the perfect dress.

Nist had a unique approach to choosing her wedding gown. She asked each of the women to select their favorite gown, and she also picked three of her own favorites. Together, they walked down the stairs with the chosen gowns, and when it came to the final decision, they all agreed that it was the right one. Nist especially felt proud that Susan, one of the contestants, was pleased with her choice.

In addition to the breathtaking Badgley Mischka ceremony gown, Nist also had a separate reception dress. This second dress featured a stylish bandage-style silhouette and a sheer skirt. To complete the look, she added a cropped feather jacket, giving her ensemble a fashionable and chic touch.

Nist chose to don a sexy white lace number for the shoot, expressing her confidence and empowerment. She shared that stepping out of the limo on the first day of her Golden Bachelor journey made her feel incredibly empowered, and this boudoir shoot was the next logical step in continuing that journey. Nist wanted her friends to be a part of it and celebrate their journey together.
