Jeramey Lutinski from Love Is Blind is clarifying rumors about his past engagement that recently came to light.
The reality TV star took to Instagram to address speculation that he was engaged to someone else and living with her while applying for season 6 of the popular Netflix dating show.
A viral TikTok and various social media posts claimed that Lutinski was in a relationship with Brittani Mcliverty before the show, and they had even sold their shared home shortly before filming. Comments from Mcliverty and her mother on Instagram and Facebook seemed to support these claims.
However, Lutinski confirmed in a video that his previous engagement was not a secret during filming and he was on his own when casting contacted him. He also clarified that he had sold his home a week or two before filming, dispelling any notions of simultaneous engagements.
While Mcliverty referred to herself as Lutinski’s ex-fiancée on Dadisman’s Instagram and mentioned selling the house together, Lutinski emphasized that he was contacted by a casting producer in November 2022 and listed the house for sale later that year, selling it in March 2023 due to market conditions.
In his video statement, Lutinski mentioned that his prior engagement was known to the show’s crew and his castmates, but it didn’t make the final edit. He expressed his desire to move on from the controversy and not give it further attention.

Despite Lutinski’s response, Netflix has yet to comment on the matter.
Adam Rose, a contestant on Love is Blind, clarified his living situation during the casting process by stating that he was living on his own and not with anyone else. He mentioned that he didn’t actively pursue being on the show but was approached for discussions which eventually led to his participation. In a recent Instagram post, he addressed the excessive hate that he and his fellow castmates have been receiving, hinting at a future opportunity for everyone to share their side of the story. Interestingly, despite being engaged, Adam and his partner have faced challenges, like a recent incident where he stayed out late talking to his previous pod-mate, Sarah Ann Bick, without being transparent about it.
For those following the show, new episodes of Love Is Blind are released on Wednesdays on Netflix, with the season finale scheduled for March 6th, followed by Love Is Blind: The Reunion on March 13th at 9 p.m. ET.
