In the recent episode of ‘Sister Wives’ titled ‘One on One,’ Robyn, Kody Brown’s remaining wife, openly expressed her discomfort and lack of enthusiasm in moving forward with him after his previous marriages fell apart. As Kody reflects on his journey through polygamy, he contemplates the valuable lessons he has learned in love and marriage. His marriages to Meri, Janelle, and Christine disintegrated within a span of 14 months, leaving Robyn as his sole wife. During the episode, Janelle discusses the possibility of Kody pursuing another sister wife with host Sukanya Krishnan. Janelle predicts that Kody is leaning towards monogamy based on his recent conversations. She also confidently states that she does not envision Robyn bringing in another sister wife. Janelle even goes as far as saying that she is willing to bet $1,000 on it, challenging anyone to prove her wrong.
Kody Brown’s response to his ex-wife Christine’s new monogamous marriage was rather insincere. He referred to her as a “s— sister wife,” displaying his disregard for their past relationship. On the other hand, his current wife Robyn seems to have found happiness with Kody, and Janelle, another one of his ex-wives, acknowledges and supports their deep connection. When asked if he would consider adding another sister wife to the mix, Kody firmly stated that he is not interested. He admitted that he now realizes he could never love another woman as much as he loves Robyn.

Robyn, however, openly admitted that she had doubts about finding happiness solely with Kody after he failed to fulfill his promise of establishing a strong, plural family together.
“It’s strange. While I want to be loving and respectful towards Kody, I’m not exactly sure how this dynamic works,” she expressed. “It feels strange and a bit disrespectful to me.”
In addition, Robyn confessed that she also feels uneasy about being happy with Kody because she hasn’t received the off-camera blessing from Janelle, Meri, and Christine, even though they have expressed their approval of the relationship on camera.

Robyn, with tears in her eyes, expressed the need for a personal, off-camera conversation because she was unsure how her actions were being perceived as disrespectful towards Kody’s children. She emphasized that she felt it was also disrespectful to the commitments she had made.
In addition, Robyn confessed that her dedication to the children, to Kody, and to the idea of their unconventional family remained unwavering. She expressed her struggle in trying to find a way to move forward while upholding her commitment.
