Heads up: This article contains spoilers from the latest season of Love Is Blind.
Settling the confusion swirling around his past engagement, Love Is Blind’s Jeramey Lutinski decided to come forward on Instagram.
This reality TV star clarified the speculations surrounding his relationship status after rumors emerged suggesting he had been engaged to someone else before participating in season 6 of the popular Netflix dating series.
A TikTok video went viral earlier in the week, and various social media posts claimed that Lutinski had applied for the show while still being engaged to another woman. According to these posts, Lutinski and his alleged ex, Brittani Mcliverty, had even sold their shared home just a few weeks before filming began. However, Lutinski, who proposed to his castmate Laura Dadisman during the current season, reassured his followers that his previous engagement “was not a secret during filming” and stated that he was “living independently” when the casting process began.
Lutinski revealed in a video message that he had been contacted by a casting producer in November 2022. He also disclosed that he had put his house on the market in either October or November of that year, and the sale was completed in March 2023 due to the real estate market conditions. He emphasized that he was not residing in the house while it was listed, and it took some time to sell. Refusing to dwell on the issue further, he added a screenshot alongside his post to back up his claims.
Addressing the rumors, Lutinski mentioned that his prior engagement had been a topic of discussion and was well-known among the show’s crew and his co-stars. He explained that although it had been documented, not all footage made it to the final edit.
Despite attempts to reach out, Netflix did not respond to PEOPLE’s inquiries regarding the matter.

Adam Rose from the show Love is Blind clarified that he was not living with anyone else when he applied for the show. He mentioned that he had been living on his own for several weeks before being approached for the show. He expressed that he didn’t actively seek out the opportunity, but when it came his way, he decided to give it a shot.

In a recent Instagram post, Lutinski, who is currently engaged to Dadisman, addressed the excessive negativity and hate that he and his castmates have been receiving. He assured everyone that there will be a time for all of them to share their side of the story but asked for patience until then.

There have been some challenges in Lutinski and Dadisman’s relationship, especially after Lutinski was seen staying out until 5 a.m. talking with his ex from the pods, Sarah Ann Bick, without being completely transparent about it.
