Meri Brown, known for her role on “Sister Wives,” recently introduced her new boyfriend, Amos Andrews, to her fans. This news delighted many of her followers, especially after her ex-sister wife, Christine Brown, found happiness with David Woolley. Meri had always expressed her desire to find love as well, and it seemed like she may have found someone special when she shared her criteria for an ideal partner. However, amidst the birthday celebrations, a concerning issue regarding child support arose, involving one of Amos’s three children. Let’s delve into the details of this custody matter.
Amos Andrews, as seen on Meri Brown’s Instagram, brought a surge of happiness among everyone when it was discovered that their love was flourishing and her smile had returned. However, it didn’t take long for the not-so-pleasant details to emerge – Amos had been married four times before and was facing some financial difficulties along with his marital history. Unlike Meri, who is a successful business owner and boss, Amos’s life has taken a different course with his troubled personal life coming into the spotlight. According to The Sun, recent revelations have surfaced regarding Amos’s issues with child support and his youngest daughter, Tiffany. In 1995, Amos tied the knot with his second wife, Shannon Marie Martin.

When they first got together, she was only eighteen, and they had a daughter in 1997. However, their marriage didn’t last, and in 2000, the couple separated. As part of the divorce agreement, Amos was supposed to pay $373 per month in child support until their daughter, Tiffany, turned 18. Unfortunately, he didn’t fulfill this obligation, and in 2013, Shannon took him back to court, claiming the following:
“Since our divorce in 2001, the father has been inconsistent with his child support payments until his wages were finally garnished in 2008. This means he owes approximately $10,000 in arrears, and currently, he only pays $125 per month through wage garnishment.”
As more details emerged, the situation seemed even more troubling.
Where is Amos?
Shannon also revealed that she had been unable to contact Amos Andrews as he had changed his phone number, email, and address without informing her multiple times within a single year. Additionally, she alleged that Amos refused to contribute towards their child’s expenses for daycare, medical, dental, vision, and education. On the other hand, Meri Brown’s partner claimed that he didn’t pay child support because Tiffany was living with him. Amos also accused Shannon of freezing his accounts, although she denied these allegations. In the end, Shannon was actually the one paying support, as she earned almost double Amos’s income.
Amos has consistently stated that he only has three ex-wives, but court documents suggest otherwise. Given these revelations, what are your thoughts on Amos now?
