Love Is Blind star Raven Ross recently shared with her fans how she is handling her breakup with ex-boyfriend Sikiru “SK” Alagbada. In a post on her Instagram Story, the 29-year-old reality star expressed that she hasn’t been consistent with her YouTube workouts lately due to everything happening in her life. However, she managed to get back on track and complete her Pilates series, and it made her feel much better. Ross believes that movement is truly therapeutic and has a healing effect on the mind and body.
Raven took the opportunity to promote her latest beginner class and shared testimonials from fans who have found joy in doing her home workouts. Prior to this, the renowned fitness guru and the 34-year-old MBA student made an announcement that they had ended their relationship shortly after the conclusion of Love Is Blind season 3. Reports of infidelity on SK’s part had surfaced, leading to their breakup.
In a joint statement posted on social media on Monday, the couple expressed their sadness about going their separate ways. They cited ongoing legal proceedings as the reason for not providing further details and requested privacy during this difficult time. They expressed gratitude towards those who had supported them throughout their love story.
Raven and SK got engaged during the filming of the reality dating series in May 2021. However, the couple faced numerous challenges when they reintegrated into real life. During the season finale, Raven agreed to marry SK, but he rejected her at the altar.
Speaking exclusively to Us Weekly, the data engineer explained that their relationship was like an attempt to merge two different individuals from two different continents. He felt that they still had unresolved issues, and getting married would not have helped resolve them. Additionally, he would have had to move shortly after the wedding, which he didn’t think their relationship was ready for.
Despite initially breaking up, SK and Raven revealed during the season 3 reunion that they had rekindled their romance and were in a long-distance relationship while SK finished his studies in California.
However, their relationship encountered more struggles when a TikTok user accused SK of cheating. In a video posted on November 18, the user claimed to have been in a relationship with SK prior to him appearing on the reality show. She alleged that during a trip to Europe, she discovered messages on SK’s phone from someone he referred to as his “fiancée.”
Neither SK nor Raven directly addressed the allegations, but both removed all photos of themselves together from their Instagram accounts before confirming their breakup. Raven subtly addressed the situation with a cryptic Instagram Story post on Monday night, suggesting that sometimes it’s important to thank God for what didn’t happen.
