During the ‘Talk Back’ special of Sister Wives, Robyn Brown intervened and attempted to prevent her husband, Kody Brown, from making offensive remarks. The couple found themselves in disagreement over the intended meaning behind a comment made by Kody. The special, which aired on Friday, featured the remaining couple of the family engaging with fans and addressing their queries and comments on camera.
The ex-polygamist patriarch came across a comment by a guy named Jeff, who expressed his admiration for their relationship and encouraged them to embrace it openly. However, the response from the father of 18 was less than kind. He countered Jeff’s comment by highlighting that their lives are not only defined by the 20 hours they share on screen but by the 365 days they live off-camera. Robyn quickly intervened, lunging across the couch to silence her husband and urging him to be more pleasant in his response.

Kody stood up for his statement, explaining, “Look, it’s clear that none of us wanted our family to fall apart, right?”
“I understand, well, yeah, but he didn’t mean to be disrespectful,” Robyn emphasized.
“Jeff, you’re consuming too much sensationalized news. We didn’t intend for this separation to happen. I certainly didn’t want it,” Kody argued, while Robyn reiterated that she didn’t believe the comment was meant to be hurtful.
“He wasn’t being rude. Kody, he was just trying to be kind, not rude,” Robyn affirmed.
“Apologies, but let me tell you, I’ve experienced the end of three marriages within just three years. Needless to say, I’m not feeling very happy or friendly,” Kody remarked, causing Robyn to roll her eyes and recline on the couch.
Fast forward to 2021, and Kody’s third spouse, Christine Brown, made a public announcement about ending their 25-year long marriage. The following year saw Janelle Brown separating from Kody, and early in 2023, Meri Brown revealed to the world that she had permanently severed ties with Kody after years of growing apart.
Robyn remains Kody’s sole wife now, and the couple has opted to live a monogamous lifestyle.
