The recent campaign by Cupcake Vineyards features some familiar faces from the popular show Love Is Blind. Bartise Bowden, Micah Lussier, Taylor Rue, and Marshall Glaze, who appeared on the show, joined forces to promote Cupcake Vineyards’ new “Love Is Wine” bottle. With the season 6 premiere just around the corner, these former cast members returned to the iconic pods to film a playful and entertaining campaign video. Bowden, in particular, humorously reflects on his experience, saying, “I got to go back into the pods, but this time with a script, so I thought it would be a little easier.” However, instead of finding love with fellow cast members, they playfully pretended to be in a relationship with a bottle of chardonnay.

At 27 years old, Bowden candidly admitted that he hadn’t been fond of chardonnay in the past. However, his experience with the wine in the pods has completely transformed his opinion. “Surprisingly, it tastes delicious,” says the star of Perfect Match. “I’ve never been a big fan of white wine. Usually, I stick to red wine. But I must admit, this chardonnay is quite enjoyable.”
Returning to the pods brought back a rush of nostalgia for Bowden. He couldn’t help but feel excited as he stepped back into the familiar space where he had previously experienced so much. “It was really cool to be back there and relive those moments,” he reflects. Sitting on the couch, writing in his journal, and reliving the emotions – it all felt like a sentimental journey.
While filming Love Is Blind, Bowden found that the pods were a special place for him. He considers those moments to be the “best times” of his experience on the show. The rush of adrenaline and excitement that washed over him when he first entered the pod, the deep conversations shared in the lounge with his fellow contestants – these memories held a special place in his heart.
This time around, Bowden felt an instant connection with his fellow cast members in the pods. The shared experience of going through Love Is Blind created a bond between them. “We all got along right from the start,” he says. His friendships with Marshall, Micah, and Taylor have grown strong, and they are now all great friends.
As a father to his 1-year-old son, Hayden, Bowden’s priority is parenting. However, he is open to the idea of finding love again. He emphasizes that he is not opposed to entering into a serious relationship and getting to know someone on a deeper level. While parenting takes precedence, he is open to the possibility of a meaningful connection.
