Tammy, known as queentammy86 on Instagram, recently suffered a heartbreaking loss. Her husband, Caleb Willingham, passed away at the young age of 40 in June. Despite their reported estrangement before his death, Tammy was deeply saddened by the news.
In a statement released on July 1, Tammy expressed her devastation and love for her late husband. “I am devastated to share the news of my husband’s passing,” she said. “He was not only my best friend but also someone I cherished dearly. From the moment I met Caleb, he felt like my guardian angel, and now he truly watches over me. Tammy cherishes Caleb’s memory by wearing a necklace containing his ashes close to her heart. According to Tammy, this allows Caleb’s presence to remain eternal, as his memory is encapsulated within the necklace. She finds comfort in holding the necklace and feels unsettled when she is without it, experiencing separation anxiety. Tammy expressed that she is not prioritizing finding a new partner at the moment, as she is not in a rush to settle down or meet anyone new. The pair met while undergoing weight loss treatment together, and the current season of the television show “1000-Lb. Sisters” documents Tammy’s journey post-surgery, while Caleb remains at the treatment facility for his continued rehabilitation.
“I received a text message from a close friend of Caleb’s, who informed me about his deteriorating condition,” Tammy recounted when recalling how she learned about Caleb’s passing. “Shortly after, I received another text confirming his demise,” she added, mentioning that she was overwhelmed with grief and found herself in a vulnerable state when she received the news.
Despite the immense loss, Tammy reassured that she is managing reasonably well as she navigates through the grieving process.
