The stars of the reality show “1000-Lb. Sisters” decided to get creative with their workout outfits. In a recently released clip by TLC, the four siblings were seen heading to the gym wearing matching sweat suits and headbands. However, they took it a step further by putting human-sized trash bags over their heads to sweat more. While Tammy admitted that the outfit wasn’t her style, she was willing to work it and have fun. Amanda, on the other hand, jokingly commented that they looked silly. Despite not enjoying the workout, Tammy preferred to have her family around for support and to share some laughs. Tammy, who has already lost nearly 400 pounds, was featured in a recent episode preparing to travel with her brother Chris. Before getting into the car, Chris announced that he would try to fit Tammy into the front seat. Concerned about her size, Tammy worried about fitting between the door and the console. However, Chris reassured her that they could make it work as long as the door shut. In a confessional, Tammy revealed that she hadn’t sat in the front seat of a car since she was a teenager. Despite the challenge, she decided to give it a go. With minimal effort, Tammy used her walker to reach the car and successfully got into the front seat. Seeing that she fit, Tammy couldn’t help but smile. Chris noted in another confessional that Tammy’s achievement made her feel wonderful.
In addition to her weight loss journey, Tammy also takes care of her sister Amy’s two children, Gage and Glenn. After Amy’s divorce from her ex-husband Michael Halterman, Tammy has stepped in to help raise the kids. According to an insider, Tammy finds purpose in looking after her nephews and recently had the opportunity to babysit them overnight by herself. This was a significant accomplishment for her. In the Season Four Part B trailer, Amy expressed her struggles, claiming she lacked support. Filmed while still married, Amy broke down in tears, stating that every aspect of her life felt chaotic.
Meanwhile, Tammy has faced some challenges of her own. She was forced to move out of her $76,000 home in Kentucky and relocate to live with her brother Chris. The source revealed that Tammy had been renting the property from her sister, Amanda, but due to constant fighting, she had to leave. Tammy’s friend also mentioned that the sisters frequently argue. Tammy now resides in Chris’ modest one-story house, which is approximately 38 miles away from her old home. However, she has plans to move into a nearby property later in the winter, according to an insider.
