Parker finds himself in a bit of a pickle as he tries to fill the shoes of his former foreman, Rick. It seems like an impossible task, but luckily, a new employee named Din has a brilliant idea up his sleeve. He proposes that they try their luck with excavating the subsurface, in hopes of stumbling upon some precious gold that might still be hiding beneath the surface.
Meanwhile, another crew member named Brennan is given the important task of digging trenches to drain out the excess water from the gravel. Unfortunately, Brennan makes a slight blunder and mistakenly leaves the soil he excavated on the edges, which ends up creating an unexpected barrier of ice. This icy wall completely blocks the flow of water, causing a major setback for the team.
But even with these obstacles and setbacks, Parker refuses to give in to despair. He remains hopeful and optimistic, determined to find a solution. The team carries on, processing the materials they excavated from the subsurface, clinging onto the hope that they will uncover that precious gold they’ve been dreaming of.
