Parker and Mitchell are on the lookout for untapped gold-rich lands in Alaska.
Their search leads them to a claim that was once worked by a long-gone mining company. Aora, the daughter of the claim’s owner, joins them in exploring the area.
As they investigate, they stumble upon clues of historic mining operations, such as an abandoned dredge. The remnants of shafts and tunnels are evident, showing where previous miners dug for gold.
With each new discovery, Parker and Mitchell’s excitement grows as they become more confident in the claim’s potential for gold. Aora points out a mound of soil with a birch tree sprouting from it, a classic sign of gold presence.
Eagerly, they start sifting through the dirt, using pans in the hopes of striking gold.
The new claim is situated 20 miles north of Fairbanks, Alaska. Parker and Mitchell had a fruitful mining season in the Yukon last year, but they are facing a setback with their wash plant for the new claim being delayed. Consequently, they are unable to dig deep for now. However, Aora and her husband are optimistic about the potential for Parker and Mitchell to turn things around on this historically significant ground. It is believed that the old miners might have left behind valuable gold that was too challenging for them to extract.
