Unveiling Christine Brown’s Social Media Journey: What’s Behind the Decline in Her Support Base?

Christine Brown from the television show Sister Wives is facing backlash for her controversial posts on social media. Some fans have started to view her as a negative figure due to these activities.

The popular reality TV personality Christine Brown has recently faced backlash from fans on social media due to some of her recent actions. Despite being a beloved figure from 2010 to 2021, the 52-year-old mother of six had a surge of support as viewers hoped to see her find happiness outside of her loveless marriage to polygamous husband Kody Brown. After struggling for years to figure out her path, the COVID-19 pandemic provided Christine with the opportunity to reflect and ultimately make the decision to end her relationship with Kody.

In 2022, as filming began for the 18th season of Sister Wives, Christine shifted her focus to prioritize her own well-being, physical health, and romantic life. Through dedication to her weight-loss journey, increased social media presence, and eventually diving back into the dating scene, Christine eventually crossed paths with David Woolley. Their connection blossomed quickly, leading to Christine falling head over heels for him. By 2023, Christine and David had purchased a home together, become engaged, and were in the midst of planning their wedding. Their eventual marriage provided Sister Wives viewers with the happy ending they had been hoping for since Christine’s journey began in 2010.

In a recent Instagram post, Christine chose to disable comments, possibly in response to the mixed reactions she has been receiving from fans regarding her recent decisions.

Regrettably, Christine’s personal development was not well-received on her social media platforms. Many followers were lost due to her recent questionable behavior and online antics. Fans are particularly upset that Christine no longer allows people to freely express their opinions on her posts. In February 2024, Christine advertised her Airbnb in Moab, Utah, alongside David, mentioning that the rental home would feature a collage of Sister Wives magazine and newspaper clippings. Despite potential backlash for capitalizing on her past relationship, Christine disabled comments on the post, perhaps to avoid criticism. Additionally, Christine recently used a controversial musician’s song in one of her Instagram posts.

Ever since getting hitched, Christine seems to be completely oblivious to how off-key she is. It’s clear she’s head over heels for David and just wants to show off her bliss to everyone, but some folks get irked by her social media faux pas. Case in point: Christine recently shared a reel on Instagram with pics of herself striking a pose in front of a sculpture, all set to R. Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly.” Needless to say, she got called out for promoting an artist who’s currently behind bars for some really awful deeds. One user even quipped that Christine should stick to sharing wedding pics instead of doling out unsolicited medical advice.

While it’s great that Christine has been active on social media, some fans are not thrilled with how frequently she promotes the controversial weight-loss brand Plexus. Many people are aware that Christine is an ambassador for the company, and they are not happy when she shares unsubstantiated claims while endorsing the brand. Recently, Christine made a bold medical statement, suggesting she had found the solution for navigating menopause. The Sister Wives star did not explicitly mention any specific brand but encouraged her followers to comment for more information via a private message. Following the negative feedback, Christine disabled the comment section on her post.
